WHAT WE DO


01.

Psychosocial Support

Our fervent belief as Home of Love is that strengthening of community-based structures for the care and support of its own members is key for successful linkages and care and we capitalize on that. We also provide counselling and support groups to ensure that our beneficiaries are emotionally well.

Child protection project

To provide intervention that is targeted at protecting children against abuse and exploitation, through educating them about their rights and responsibilities. And to reduce any forms of vulnerability that they might be facing.

03.

Livelihoods Support (Economic Strengthening)

Provision of sustainable and profitable means of livelihoods, training on Income Generating Activities and financial management support to children, AGWYs and their families to attain vocational skills and provision of basic start up tool kits/skills through gardening projects, Small Business establishment, etc.

Sponsor a child Project

To establish partnerships with companies and with the community at large to get involved the initiative of supporting children who are living in impoverished circumstances.

Social Behavior change Projects

We believe that in addressing societal problems, you must use a holistic approach and there we provide communities with the following services (Community dialogues/awareness, Parenting support, counselling etc)

HIV/AIDS and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Projects

Our work is aligned to the NSP (2017-2022) and we respond to the HIV/AIDS pandemic through community outreach and work in collaboration with the relevant departments (i.e. DOH, NGOs etc) for linkages to care. We provide rights-based education to children, AGWYs, communities on HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Gender-based violence. And lastly, we do research studies to have in-depth understanding of the factors that contribute to the pandemics.

Capacity Building/ Training/ Skills Development

Empowerment is key in the work that we do because we need to reduce vulnerability of our beneficiaries so we provide various skills targeted at capacitating so that they can be self-sustained and independent people who are free from vulnerability.

GOAL 1

Reach key and vulnerable populations (children, AGWY and their families) with customized and targeted interventions

Address the social drivers of the pandemics (i.e. HIV, GBV, child abuse) and ground the responses in Human Rights principles and approaches
GOAL 3
Reduce the prevalence of GBV and promote the rights of women and girls through empowerment programmes in our designated areas
